Cavity Backed Narrow Slot: TE-wave case

ABSTRACT

An analytical solution for the problem of a narrow slot in a plane, loaded on a rectangular cavity is derived. The accuracy of the solution in the narrow slot approximation is investigated, it has been shown, that the approximate solution provides fairly good results for the slot width less then one tenth of wavelength of an incident TE field.
