Correcting the Spectral Intensity Distribution in the Generator of Chaotic Oscillations with a Delay Line

ABSTRACT

Two methods using delay lines with a sufficiently long delay time are suggested for controlling the output spectral intensity distribution in the generator of chaotic oscillations. One is summation of two components of the output signal, divided preliminarily into two parts. The other makes use of the interaction between the generator and its own reflected signal (the autodyne effect). The two methods permit forming spectral intensity distributions of practically any kind.
