APPLICATION OF HIGHER-ORDER STATISTICS TO ANALYZING NON-GAUSSIAN FIELDS OF SIGNALS

ABSTRACT

The method is suggested for discrimination of the useful reflected non-Gaussian signal against the backgrounds of the Gaussian and weakly non-Gaussian interference this demonstrate certaing promising for applying the sliding overage technique and higher-order statistics to analyze he images of signals of the ground-penetrating radars. To further improve the techniques of object detection, it is necessary to estimate the statistics from trains of the reflected signals.
