ABSTRACT

Adaptive filtering algorithms for filtering electromyographic noise from eletrocardiographic signal are considered. Statistical characteristics of suppressing noise described by symmetric α-stable distribution (sampling rate of 500 Hz) are obtained for mean square error and signal- to-noise ratio. It is shown that the proposed adaptive myriad filters provide a high quality the elimination of electromyographic noise in the electrocardiogram.
