ABSTRACT

Results are presented of studying in the "water cloud" model, the scatter of electromagnetic power by a surface covered with vegetation. The vegetation considered was lawn grass. One of the possible approaches to solving the inverse problem is analyzed, namely evaluation of weight indices for the canopy from measured magnitudes of σ0.
