Biophysical Effect of Low-Intensity Electromagnetic Microwaves

ABSTRACT

Biological effects of low intensity electromagnetic microwaves are considered. It is shown that despite the low levels of irradiation, the microwave pollution of the environment is an ecologically significant factor. A mechanism underlying the microwave influence on bioobjects is suggested, involving the electromagnetic - to - thermal energy conversion with the subsequent movements of the components of intercellular liquid (including dissolved air) in the temperature gradient field.
