ABSTRACT

The results of experiments on interference and suppressing impact by powerful ultrashort subnanosecond pulses on a television surveillance system are presented. It is found that unshielded wires that connect the video cameras and the monitor are the main receiver of the pulse field. The threshold peak amplitudes of the pulse field at which frame synchronization of the monitor and irreversible suppression of the video camera fail are determined.
