Statement of the Problem on Correction of a Continuous Communication Channel with Constant Parameters for Improving its Potential Characteristics

ABSTRACT

The opportunity for correction of a continuous communication channel with constant parameters by the criterion of the maximum capacity is discussed. It is pointed that potential characteristics of the continuous communication channel should be taken into account, even when digital information transmission systems are synthesized. The problem of computation of the channel capacity with a random power transmission factor is stated and solved. The discrepancy between the existing criteria of the synthesis of linear systems and the problems solved by the systems of information transmission is demonstrated. A problem of synthesis of a linear system to increase the potential characteristics of the communication channel is stated.
