ABSTRACT

The aim of the research was development and testing of a super fast explosion suppression systems using different explosive charges for membrane perforation as well as for dispersing suppression material from the steel container into protected volume. Water was used as the suppressing material. Using the developed systems, the dust explosions suppression process was studied in a 1.25 m3 chamber. The obtained results show a good usefulness of worked out solutions in the process of dust explosions suppression.
