Compression of Images on the Basis of Automatic and Indistinct Classification of Fragments

ABSTRACT

Practical results of computer modeling of compression of some classes of realistic images are presented. The offered methods of compression of images investigated on the basis of automatic and indistinct classification of fragments of various dimension have allowed one to decrease essentially the volume of data for saturated detailed images, prints of seals in particular, compared with the results received by methods on the basis of wavelet-transformations.
