ABSTRACT

The article considers the influence of the anisotropy of the elastic and plastic characteristics of the barrier material on the results of numerical simulation of the shock loading of an aluminum barrier by a steel deformable striker. The results of calculations were obtained by the finite elements method in a three-dimensional statement. It is shown that the anisotropy of the elastic and plastic properties of a material manifests itself in a different extent depending on the kinematic and geometric parameters of loading.
