ABSTRACT

A review of available literature data dealt with the study of phytoplankton of techno-ecosystems of nuclear and thermal power stations is given in the paper. Data on the taxonomic richness of phytoplankton and its abundance in cooling ponds of thermal and nuclear power stations are discussed. The problem of bio-hindrances conditioned by the development of phytoplankton is considered. Data on invasive species are also discussed.
