Quantitative Characteristics of Phytoplankton of the Sloviyans'k Saline Lakes

ABSTRACT

Literature and original data regarding diversity of the planktonic algae of the Sloviyans'k saline lakes were comprehended. Phytoplankton comprised 334 species (352 intra-species taxa) of nine departments. Maximal average numbers was registered in the Gariache Lake, and minimal − in the Ripne Lake. Maximal average biomass was registered in the Slipne Lake. Seasonal dynamics of numbers and biomass and dominant complexes were determined.
