Realization of Conceptual Dualism in Biocenology by Example of Zoobenthos of the Lowland Reservoir

摘要

Two approaches to zoobenthos cenosis distinguishing were analyzed by example of the Kyiv reservoir: bionomic and biotopic. Application of bionomic approach to the cenotic structuring of zoobenthos using the V. A. Brotskaya's and L. A. Zenkevich's method enabled to distinguish in the Kyiv reservoir eight cenosis, comprising 18 to 38 species with total biomass 7.68 to 4604.46 g/m2. Unification was suggested of the zoobenthos cenosis nomination by name of species, dominating by the density index √(bP) and their ecological characteristic.
