Calculation of Air Distribution in Complex Underground Ventilation Networks

ABSTRACT

The necessity of taking into account the effect of terrain features and climatic conditions in calculation and regulation of air distribution in complex ventilation networks of underground structures is substantiated. A method of calculation of air distribution in the presence of a few aerodynamic connections to the Earth's surface is proposed. The method allows one to take into account the joint effect of internal thermal processes and external conditions. The validity of the method is confirmed by comparison of calculation and experiment.
