ABSTRACT

Impact of scattering on propagation of radiation in two-phase media is discussed. Results of the effect of scattering process on the form of absorption line are presented. Necessity of consideration of the line structure of absorbing gas for calculations of emittance of emitting, absorbing, and scattering media is shown.
