ABSTRACT

An effective method for ca1culating energy exchange in the furnaces of boilers is suggested. It is based on numerical solution of the integro-differential equation of radiative transfer. In comparison with the standard method it gives a more precise solution of the problem and does not require empirical corrections for the fuel quality, position of the burners, etc.
