Vortex Precession in a Gas-Liquid Flow
摘要
The work is devoted to experimental investigation of the influence of a gas phase on the self-oscillating regime with the vortex core precession occurring in a twisted flow in the case of a helical type of the decomposition of an axisymmetric vortex. Investigations of the frequency of vortex precession and of the full pressure drop over the test section of a vortex chamber depending on the liquid flow rate and gas content were carried out. The relations obtained reveal a number of interesting effects that reflect the specific features in the behavior of precessing vortices with a gas core. These investigations are important, for example, for controlling resonance oscillations occurring in hydroturbines.
