Thermophoretic Cleaning of Air in Power-Generating Equipment

ABSTRACT

The processes of catching of high-disperse particles in a pulsating flow of aerosol on the basis of thermophoresis are described. Diagrams and designs of thermophoretic oil separators of power-generating equipment with air and water cooling are presented. The efficiency of air-oil flow cleaning, which due to thermophoresis increases by 30%, is estimated.
