FULLY DEVELOPED FLOWS OF TWO IMMISCIBLE COUPLE STRESS AND NEWTONIAN FLUIDS THROUGH NONPOROUS AND POROUS MEDIUM IN A HORIZONTAL CYLINDER
摘要
This paper aims to study the flows of two immiscible couple stress and Newtonian fluids through a horizontal circular cylinder. The continuity conditions for the velocity and shear stress at the fluid-fluid interface are assumed. The nonlinear equations governing the two-fluid flows through nonporous and porous media are solved analytically. The variation of velocity for the couple stress parameter, viscosity ratio, and porosity parameter is discussed and the results are illustrated through graphs. The results indicate that increasing the couple stress and porosity parameters decreases the velocity of the fluid.
