摘要

The growth of home-based telemedicine invites a discussion about the ethical implications of this technology for the traditional goals and moral ideals of medical practice. To this end, I examine the normative connections between home-based telemedicine and the following: (1) health care justice, (2) quality of life for patients and family caregivers, and (3) provider-patient relationships.
