DISCONTINUOUS GALERKIN METHOD FOR THE REYNOLDS EQUATION SYSTEM WITH THE EARSM
摘要
The discontinuous Galerkin method is presented for the solution of the Reynolds system of equations for compressible gas closed with the explicit algebraic Reynolds stress model (EARSM). Time marching is performed according to the five-step explicit Runge-Kutta scheme with a multigrid algorithm for acceleration of convergence to the stationary solution. The features of method implementation are considered, as well as relaxation of the turbulence variables and other ways to improve the computational stability, and corrections made at every time step are described. The results of the flat-plate turbulent boundary layer and three-element airfoil at high angle of attack test computations are presented with up to four orders of accuracy, and grid convergence analysis is performed.
