UNSTEADY FREE CONVECTION AND MASS TRANSFER FLOWIN THE STAGNATION-POINT REGION OF A THREE-DIMENSIONAL BODY: USE OF HOMOTOPY ANALYSIS METHOD
摘要
This article deals with the unsteady free convection and mass transfer flow in the stagnation-point region of a heated three-dimensional body placed in an ambient fluid. The homotopy analysis method is employed to solve the problem. By means of new similarity transformations, the momentum, energy, and concentration equations are reduced to a set of four coupled nonlinear partial differential equations. This transformation reduces the calculation quantities to solve the problem, and the convergence of results is recovered easily. The equations of the problem are solved for various values of the ratio of the two principal radii of curvature. The results of the study are compared with those of earlier studies and are found to be in excellent agreement.
