A BRIEF REVIEW OF ENHANCED CO2 ABSORPTION BY NANOPARTICLES

摘要

With the continuous release of CO2 and other acid gases, the greenhouse effect becomes more and more serious, so it is more and more important to capture CO2. In this paper, the research status of nanoparticles enhanced CO2 absorption and three basic properties of nanofluids, i.e., thermal conductivity, viscosity and convective heat transfer in recent years are introduced. At the same time, the enhancement mechanism of CO2 absorption by nanofluids was studied in details. The effects of various factors on the enhancement of CO2 absorption and the numerical calculation of mass transfer process were summarized. At present, there are few researches on the enhancement of CO2 absorption, so the future research on enhanced CO2 absorption will be a hot topic in this area.
