摘要

Development of the species Aulacoseira islandica (O. Müller) Simonsen in Lake Khanka and the Amur River is analyzed. It is shown that auxospore and dormant spores form simultaneously in one colony. The fine structure of frustules is studied and the Far-East species are compared with nonsporulating A. islandica from North America and Europe, A. skvortzowii Edlund, Stoermer & Taylor from Lake Baikal, and A. pseudoislandica Lupikina & Ozornina from the Pleistocene deposits of Kamchatka. The greatest similarity is revealed in dislocation and shape of bilabiate excrescences of the Far-East representative of A. pseudoislandica.
