The results of laboratory measurements of system parameters are presented. The possibilities for the practical use of the system as a sensor for the people detection in the protected area, a sensor for the obstacle detection in model-based vision system, a sensor for remote measurement and monitoring of human breathing and heartbeat parameters in medicine or when performing work related with an increased risk, a portable radar for the people detection behind the obstacles, or buried under the rubble of building structures, snow avalanches, and training laboratory equipment are demonstrated. %8 2012-11-16
