T1 Electrostatic Potential Distribution in Eccentric Cylindrical Channel with Tubular Electron Beam JF Telecommunications and Radio Engineering JO TRE YR 2004 FD 2005-10-10 VO 61 IS 2-6 SP 417 OP 423 AB Analysis of electrostatic potential distribution over the cross section of the equipotential cylindrical channel containing a tubular electronic beam is carried out, with both coaxial and non-coaxial layout of the outer and inner electrodes. It is shown that a smooth variation of the channel width does not allow to form any effective ("narrow" and "deep") natural ionic trap in azimuth direction with small loss of the beam current.
