T1 Sensitivity Analysis of Parameters Related to the Modeling of Adsorption-Type Hydrogen Storage Tanks JF Heat Transfer Research JO HTR YR 2009 FD 2008-12-10 VO 40 IS 2 SP 143 OP 164 AB This paper investigates the impact of model parameters on the evolution of the pressure and temperature fields in an adsorption-type hydrogen storage vessel. Available adsorbents are not always fully characterized in the open literature and the process of establishing a suitable mathematical model typically involves measurements of relevant properties. In this work, parameters that affect the solution to a significant extent are isolated through numerical perturbation experiments. The findings herein will hopefully aid the issue of selecting parameters subject to experimental determination in order to obtain an accurate mathematical model for a given adsorbent.
