T1 Nonstationary Heating and Phase Transitions in a Live Cell in Absorption of Laser Radiation JF Heat Transfer Research JO HTR YR 2007 FD 2007-11-27 VO 38 IS 8 SP 695 OP 708 AB Light and heat are key life factors, including at the cell level. However, while action of the heat factor has been studied at the level of a body or individual organs, then it has not been practically studied at the level of individual cells, and today, information on heat processes at the cell level and on the cell response to heat impact is practically unavailable. The goal of this work is to describe photo-induced thermal phenomena in an individual live cell at the theoretical and experimental levels. The work includes two parts: building a model of interaction of laser radiation with an individual cell, and analyzing possibility of appearance of photo-induced vapor bubbles.
