It is found that the formation of cell resistance to higher copper concentrations are accompanied by the formation of epigenotype differing from the control culture and characterizing by: a) the decreasing total RNA and ribosomal RNA content; b) the decreasing protein synthesis activity and protein content; c) the decreasing protein 70 kDa fraction and the increasing protein 35 kDa fraction; d) the increasing lipid content in cytosol (3−10 times for different lipid fractions). It has been shown that cells of D. viridis CuR-culture possess higher resistance to the short-term effect of high temperature as compared to CuS-culture. The higher thermal resistance of D. viridis CuR-culture correlated not only with a decrease in the content of ribosomes and protein but also with a high content of copper ions in cells. %8 2011-07-01
