Abstract

A finite element model of a satellite borne antenna was built. Computing cases were determined according to the changes of the orbit heat, then temperature of the antenna was computed. The analysis results showed that the temperature scope of the antenna is from -42 to 42 leaving enough design margins, which matches the requirements of thermal design.
