摘要
Presented are results on numerical study of flame front (surface of discontinuity) propagation, based on the G- equation. In the combustion community this is known as Markstein equation. Because of the stiffness and non-linearity of the G-equation it solution is not a straightforward task. The approach we follow here is based on upwind 1 finite differences method. Markstein equation was solved in a flow of periodic vortices, provided by Dold and Kerr. Other possibility is to introduced convective flow field as it was done by Nikolova. Presented are iso-lines (level-set) that illustrate flow-flame interaction
