摘要

Turbulent two phase (gas-solid particles) flow was numerically investigated by the use of large eddy simulation (LES) method. The description of mathematical model and numerical scheme are briefly presented in the paper. The governing equations of fluid flow were discretized in symmetry-preserving way, while Poisson equation for pressure is solved by residual cutting method. Standard Smagorinsky SGS model with modified Van Driest damping function is used. Particle motion was simulated using Lagrangian approach. Two-way coupling, as well as inter particle collisions were considered. The code was tested for one-phase flow at two different Reynolds numbers and results were compared with DNS data. Simulation of two-phase flow was performed at Reynolds number of 644, based on friction velocity and channel half-height. Results are presented in the paper and compared with previous simulations and experiments.
