Abstract

Project "Design rules for close tolerance and lubricant free piston compressors" is a pioneer project, based on investigating and better understanding of transient thermal and thermomechanical processes occurring in an unlubricated Piston Cylinder Combination (PCC). This paper concentrates on thermal phenomena taking place in the compressing-expanding volume. Experimental setup is constructed and being produced at the moment.
