PECULIARITIES OF AUTOWAVE MOTIONS IN BOUNDED EXCITABLE MEDIA CONTAINING ACTIVE PARAMAGNETIC CENTERS
ABSTRAKT
The paper is devoted to computer investigations of selfâ€organized autowave motions in bounded nonequilibrium systems of the excitable type including, in particular, phasers with paramagnetic active centers. The presence of not only local activation, but also local inhibition of excitations, which influences essentially the mechanism of the selfâ€organization of autowaves, is a feature of microscopic interaction between such active centers. The special attention is given to the study of rotating spiral autowaves, taking into account the channels of local inhibition of excitations. It was shown that in a system with local inhibition of excitations the reverberator rotating spiral autowaves (containing dynamic cores) are dominating, and they depress the Wiener rotating spiral autowaves (containing dynamic cores). The phenomenon of the regeneration of reverberator rotating spiral autowaves, which appears in a form of a nonlinear «reflection» of rotating spiral autowaves from the absorbing boundary of a medium, was revealed. The conditions at which the regeneration of rotating spiral autowaves is accompanied by the selfâ€induced inversion of the topological charge of rotating spiral autowaves are found. The sliding mode of a core of rotating spiral autowaves along the boundary of an active medium was observed for the first time. The mechanisms of these phenomena caused by the role of local inhibition of excitations in processes of the selfâ€organization of rotating spiral autowaves are discussed.
