This article addresses for the first time the solution of the vector boundary value problem on the scattering of a plane arbitrarily polarized electromagnetic wave, propagating at an arbitrary angle to the interface of absorbing media, on a superconducting sphere. Convenient equations are obtained for calculating the main electrodynamic characteristics of the superconductive sphere.
