RESONANCE SYSTEM FOR ANALYZING CYLINDRICAL SAMPLES IN MILLIMETER WAVE BAND
ABSTRAKT
The paper is devoted to a theoretical analysis of a resonance system of cylindrical, conical and spherical geometry. A cylindrical sample is placed inside all along this cavity. The resonator spectrum has been analyzed, and the relations between the eigen oscillation frequencies and permittivity of samples of various diameter have been determined. The expeimental research validated the applicability of a hemispherical open resonator, containing a segment of a circular super-dimensional waveguide appropriate to the considered cavity, for the purpose of measuring electrophysical parameters of oblong samples.
