A SLOT RADIATOR IN A COAXIAL LINE
ABSTRAKT
The method of magnetomotive forces is applied to determine characteristics of a transverse slotcut in the external conductor of a coaxial line which provides an analysiswithin a broad range of wavelengths including the multimode regime. Amplitudes of spatial harmonics in the distribution function of the tangential electric field component across the slot surface areinvestigated. The radiation and reflection factors of the slot are analyzed in dependence on the slot sizes, geometrical parameters of the coaxialline and permittivities of the dielectric materials filling the interior and exterior regions of the coaxial line
