ABSTRAKT

Present work presents mathematical modeling of diffusion and chemical phenomena accompanying the formation of the transition zone between silicon coating and titanium nickelide substrate under non-isothermic conditions. The grains and their boundaries in the substrate are considered as separate phases with different diffusion properties. The study accounts for the formation kinetics of a three-component solution. In the case of micro-grains, the size of the boundary phase is small as compared with that of the volumetric phase. In the case of nano-grains, the size of the phases are comparable, which conditions the peculiarities in the formation of the transition zone composition.
