Integrated Adaptive Protocol of Random Multiple Access
ABSTRAKT
The new protocol of random multiple access to a radio channel of packet radio nets for data transmission was proposed. This protocol includes integrated adaptive procedures of priority conflict resolution and block reservation, which for the real time provides stable operation of the net under low and high flow traffic loading (including loading, which exceeds the stability limit of known protocols). Two modifications of the protocol were studied analytically. Numerical evaluation of the basic characters of protocols was obtained and optimal magnitudes for its system parameters were determined. The new criterion for evaluating the effectiveness of the random multiple access protocols was suggested and the comparative evaluation of the protocol effectiveness according to this criterion is given.
