On S-Homogenization of Linear Variational Inequalities in Banach Spaces. Regular Case

The problem of limiting transition (as e ® 0) for sequences of variational inequalities is considered. The method of homogenization based on S-convergence of a sequence of extremal problems, that are equivalent to the original sequence of variational inequalities, is suggested. Conditions, under which the limiting (homogenized) variational inequality is expressed in terms of a G-limiting operator and its unique solution is the weak limit for a sequence consisting of solutions of variational inequalities as e ® 0, are found.
