ABSTRAKT

The paper is dealt with the assessment of the modern trophic status and water quality of Lake Kroman in terms of physico-chemical parameters and in terms of the indices of phytoplankton development and functioning (temperature, gas and hydrochemical regime, nutrients, species composition and quantitative indices of phytoplankton development, chlorophyll content, potential photosynthesis, decomposition, BOD5, seston concentration, ChOD, dissolved and suspended forms of organic matter, and the presence of microcystin producing Cyanoprokaryota). The response of lake ecosystem to the increase in the intensity of anthropogenic load conditioned by the influence of the "Kroman" tourist complex is discussed.
