Radioecological Situation in Lake Yezerishche (Byelarus)

ABSTRAKT

Results of radioecological monitoring of Lake Yezerishche (Vitebsk region, of Byelarus) performed during 1988−1992 are presented. In 1988 fairly high values of Cs-137 specific activity in the lake water reached 1.74−3.48 Bq/l; this, as further control has shown, was connected to shore contamination in 1986 and following years. Distribution of Cs-137 and Sr-90 in the components of the lake ecosystem for monitoring years had been also analyzed.
