ABSTRAKT

The peculiarities of tissual and organismal responses in Baikal sponges to some dyes are shown to be quite demonstrative as the signs of toxic environmental effects. Taking into account the sensitivity and simplicity of the coloration techniques tested, these techniques need a further development for their employment in toxicological bioassays.
