ABSTRAKT
Modern cenotic structure of macrozoobenthos of the Kremenchug Reservoir includes nine cenoses. Data on their localization within the area of water of the reservoir, occupied area, and also on the composition of dominant species and quantitative indices of their development, are given in the paper. A new index of biocenotic similarity of macrozoobenthos cenoses was put forward. The role of the main components of macrozoobenthos cenoses as the trophic resource of commercial benthophage fish was determined.
