Influence of the Ariel Detergent on the Growth and Physiological State of the Unicellular Algae Dunaliella Salina (Chlorophyta) and Plagioselmis Prolonga (Cryptophyta)

ABSTRAKT

The influence of the Ariel detergent in the concentrations of 0.1, 1, and 10 mg/L on the dynamics of the numbers, chlorophyll a and carotenoids content, and on the oxygen productivity of the microalgae Dunaliella salina (Chlorophyta) and Plagioselmis prolonga (Cryptophyta) was investigated. It has been found that P. prolonga is more sensitive to the influence of the detergent as compared to D. salina. The activity of the toxicant increased with increasing its content in the medium.
