ABSTRAKT

A multielement system consisting of a number of closed air layers within solid walls is considered. The laws governing radiative-convective heat transfer at various temperatures on the outer surfaces of the system are investigated. The extent of the dependence of the heat flux through the system on the dimensions of the gas interlayers, their geometrical parameters, the optical and thermophysical properties of the bounding surfaces is investigated.
