ABSTRAKT

On the basis of fiber-optical probes (FOP) of the reflecting type a measurement technique of amplitude-frequency characteristics of liquid film thickness has been developed. The elaborated FOP probes have the spatial resolution less than 0.2−0.3 mm, time resolution − less than 10−3−10−4 s, and high measurement accuracy (1−2)%. The static, dynamical and angular FOP characteristics are delivered. The liquid nitrogen film thickness measurements have been conducted at an inaccessible location. The fiber communication line is 10 m length. The experimental data agree well with capacitance measurements which were performed simultaneously.
