ABSTRAKT

Results of numerical investigation of the effect of the rate of hydrogen injection through a porous surface during its combustion in a boundary layer are presented. In order to simulate turbulent characteristics of flow we used the turbulence model with the Chen modification for low Reynolds numbers. For description of the process of chemical reaction we applied the diffusion model with account for the difference between the coefficients of diffusion for different substances. Comparison of the cases of injection with and without combustion shows that the front of heat liberation leads to delay of laminar-to-turbulent transition and to substantial deformation of the density profiles of a gaseous mixture and its viscosity. The effect on a decrease of surface friction due to merely injection and combustion is analyzed.
