EFFECT OF DOUBLE DIFFUSION ON CENTRIFUGAL FILTRATION CONVECTION
ABSTRAKT
The model of convection in a binary fluid saturated porous layer subject to centrifugal force is considered, taking into account the cross-diffusion. The temperature and concentration gradients are assumed to be collinear with the centrifugal force. The criteria for the onset of convection are found approximately using the Galerkin method. The effects of solutal Rayleigh number, Schmidt number, Prandtl number, and Soret parameter are studied.
